Most towns require a permit for walls over 4 feet plus engineered drawings. The homeowner pulls the permit — we'll walk you through it.
What's the best block for a NJ retaining wall?+
Segmental concrete block (Versa-Lok, Allan Block, EP Henry) is the workhorse — strong, modular, frost-rated. Natural stone is great for shorter decorative walls.
