We install paver patios across Camden, Burlington & Gloucester County 10 months out of the year. Here's when each season actually makes sense — and when it doesn't.
Spring (March–May)
Most popular, most booked. If you call in January, you can usually get on the spring schedule. Wait until April and you're booking for late June or July. Ground is workable as soon as the frost is out.
Summer (June–August)
Hot and dry — perfect for excavation and base work. Polymeric sand sets cleanly. The only downside is the heat is rough on the crew, so days run a touch shorter.
Fall (September–November)
Honestly the best season in NJ. Cool temps, dry ground, you actually get to use the patio for the next year. Most homeowners don't think to call until next spring — which is exactly why fall slots are the easiest to book.
Winter (December–February)
Skip it. Frozen ground, polymeric sand won't activate, and you risk a half-finished install over a freeze. We use winter for design, planning and permitting.
Scheduling by season
We don't run "winter discounts" because the work just isn't right in January. The leverage is on scheduling: book 8–12 weeks ahead and you get the install date you actually want.
